Terms of Use

The rules for Fruitly – what we offer you, what we expect from you, and what applies if something goes wrong.

Last updated: September 29, 2026

The short version

  • Fruitly is an AI assistant. Answers can contain mistakes – check important answers and claims yourself.
  • You may use what you enter and what Fruitly creates for you. We only train on it if you explicitly allow it.
  • Don’t use Fruitly for anything unlawful or to harm others.
  • You can delete your account at any time.

Who we are and what these terms cover

Fruitly is operated by SSL Fruitly AI GmbH & Co. KG, Inkustraße 1–7/Stiege 2/Haus C/1. OG/Top 2109, 3400 Klosterneuburg, Austria (“we”). These terms apply to using Fruitly on fruitly.ai, in the apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and to all features that come with it.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Your account and the waitlist

You need an account to use Fruitly. Give accurate details and keep your password secret. An account belongs to one person; you’re responsible for everything that happens through it. If you notice someone else has access, change your password and write to us.

New accounts first join a waitlist. We let people in step by step; until then, you can’t use Fruitly yet. There’s no right to be let in by a particular time.

You must be at least 14 years old. If you’re under 18, you need the consent of your parents or legal guardians.

What Fruitly offers

Fruitly answers questions, searches the web, writes texts, creates documents, presentations and websites, and keeps you up to date with Squeezes. Which features your plan includes is shown in the app.

We keep developing Fruitly and may change, add or discontinue features when there’s a good reason – such as technical developments, security or legal requirements. We work to keep Fruitly available at all times but can’t guarantee it, for example during maintenance or outages.

Answers from the AI

Fruitly’s answers are generated automatically by an AI model. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even when they sound convincing. Check important answers and claims before you rely on them. Fruitly doesn’t replace advice from professionals – for example on legal, medical, tax or financial matters.

The note under the message field says that Fruitly is an AI. Fruitly’s texts also carry an invisible watermark that anyone can check with our AI Detector. Where the law requires it, you must label AI-generated content as such when you publish it. More in Fruitly and the EU AI Act.

Your content

What you enter – messages, files, images – stays yours. You only give us the rights we need to run Fruitly for you: to store and process it and show it to you, on your devices and on the web.

You may use what Fruitly creates for you freely, including commercially. Where rights to results arise with us, we transfer them to you. Please note: AI results aren’t always unique – others may receive similar ones – and they aren’t always protected by copyright.

Only add content you’re entitled to use. We only train on your chats if you turn on “Improve the Service”; it’s off by default. Details in the Privacy Policy.

What’s not allowed

You may not use Fruitly to

  • break the law or give instructions for crimes,
  • create content that sexualizes children, incites violence, or demeans or harasses people,
  • deceive others, for example through fraud, phishing, forged documents or pretending to be someone else,
  • infringe the rights of others, such as copyrights, trademarks or personality rights,
  • develop malware or attack systems,
  • base decisions with significant consequences for people – such as on loans, jobs or treatments – on Fruitly alone, without human review.

Don’t circumvent security measures or usage limits, don’t access Fruitly automatically at scale, and don’t use Fruitly’s output to train competing AI models.

Web search and others’ content

When Fruitly searches the web or opens pages, the content comes from third parties. Their providers are responsible for it; we don’t check it or adopt it as our own. Fruitly shows you its sources so you can read them yourself.

Websites and documents you publish

You’re responsible for websites, documents and other results you create with Fruitly and share or publish. Check them first – for accuracy, that they don’t infringe anyone’s rights, and that they meet the obligations that apply to you, such as a legal notice.

Plans, prices and limits

Fruitly is available for free (Free) and in the Plus and Pro plans. Every plan has usage limits, for example on the number of replies; they’re shown in the app. Once reached, Fruitly may answer less or not at all until the next period.

Paid plans can’t be bought yet. Once they can, the prices and conditions shown at purchase apply; we’ll add the term, cancellation and your right of withdrawal here then. Purchases in the App Store are handled by Apple under its own terms.

Deleting, suspending and ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We then delete it right away with everything that belongs to it, as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you don’t use your account for 24 months, we email you and delete it 30 days later unless you sign in before then. You can export your data under Settings › Data Controls at any time.

If you seriously breach these terms, we may suspend or end your account. Where possible and reasonable, we warn you first and tell you why. We may also discontinue Fruitly as a whole; we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can save your content.

Warranty and liability

The statutory warranty rights apply.

We’re liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence, we’re not liable, except for personal injury. Mandatory rights you have as a consumer remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

If our services or legal requirements change, we may adjust these terms. We’ll tell you about significant changes at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before then. Changes that put you at an unreasonable disadvantage don’t apply without your consent.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and conflict-of-law rules. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the country you live in and can also take us to court there. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is the competent court for Klosterneuburg.
